Day 6 fishing in Coral Bay - pics added
Well another day in paradise. Headed out on the rising tide and back to favourite ground in 130m. As soon as we stopped and dropped lines fish were on, with Rosie's and solid Goldband coming up. We encouraged a couple of visitors as we had a 4 meter Tiger circling us for a while and after he nicked off we had a few Dollies turn up, not the ones with skirts but the fish !
We managed to invite a 1 meter plus on board and he is joining us for dinner tonight - yum.
As soon as the tide peaked the bite slowed and we moved back into 90 to chase some Reds. We landed in the Red kindergarten and started bringing up baby reds, all of which were returned but we managed to winkle out a couple of fish around the 3 - 4 kg mark to make up our emporer limit. That with the Goldband and a nice snub nosed cod all helped to fill up the fish box.
In just before Mahi Mahi who unloaded a boatload of Rubies and 8 Bar. Weather looking a but suss tomorrow so a lay day has been declared so the old boy can take a break. I'm fairly knackered, pulling fish up from 130m is bloody hard work especially when you have don it for 6 days in a row !
I'll post some more pics when my boy emails them through to me so they are all on his phone.
cheers

The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.
