Dead battery help

Hi all, I'vemanaged to let my fairly new boat battery run dry (which i know is a really stupid thing to do) and now the engine won't start.

I wanted to ask is there any saving a battery in this situation or do you just scrap it and buy a new one?

Thanks

Whack a charger on it, should be able to rescue it if it's only once it's been drained. Might not get it up to a 100% but I think it'll be ok.

sometimes with dead flat batteries the charger won't start charging, if so hook another battery in parallel with jumper leads for 10 minutes will usually get it started.
