Deep drop perth ?
Hi all , just looking for any advise on setting up me boat for deep drop out of perth , I've looked at a couple of reels round the$600 -800 mark ones a daiwa and othe shimano . I have a Tiagra 50w and 30w that don't get used and have seen a adapter and motor that converts them but not sure of the price ,looked very pricey. My big question is , is it worth spending a fair chunk of coin on these set ups ? is it a massive hit and miss out there in the deep, long way out . Pretty excited to try it anyway , what depth works good out here I launch from Hilary's up to 2 rocks , do you look for structure or drop offs ? A lot of questions but any info would be much appreciated cheers . And if anyone knows of some electric reels for sale yell out

Hi mate,
The super deep fishing has definitley become one of the most questioned things instore for us because its something thats relatively new to most anglers at the moment. Its exciting and it always wants you coming back for more which is why all of us instore go out and chase the super deep species.
There is a lot to be learnt when trying to successfully target these species. If you want mate feel free to drop past the shop and ask every question you want and we should be able to answer all of them and set you in the right direction to being successfull.

Be prepared to put a LOT of effort in, a lot of fuel and expect a few fishless trips........worth it in the end if you stick it out.
Forget heading out unless you have a quality sounder on top notch transducer.
