Denham, Dirk Hartog

Chasin info!
We were packed to head to the islands for the long weekend but there has been no window in the breeze this morning.Dropped the boys back at school but con templating towing the boat to Denham this arvo and doing Dirk Hartog instead.
Probably straight across to Notch Point/inlet and then down to steep over the next day or 2.Any info on the east side of Dirk for anchorage and fishing much appreciated!

Try down near Sunday island , there’s two good little bays to pull up in . It’s only a sort steam to Steep point from there . Failing that you can always get smoked by baldies where you anchor up and sleep for the night !
My wife understands why I clean my rods n reels in the shower....

Shited camp back to being a Carnarvonite again. Not sure on the forecast for the weekend but would suggest Steep point would be the better option if the wind comes up that way you don't have to bash into it on your way home. Shelter bay provides good anchorage

Keep heading north
Might just have to plan for a bit later on the year and keep driving up to home and come for a trip out to the Bucaneer... :)
