Denham fishing report

Hi all,
Heading up to Denham next week with the family for 10 days. Was wondering if anyone has any info on how the fishing has been up there lately? Haven't fished there for a while so any information or hints would be appreciated. I am taking my 6.5 meter boat up and hoping if the weather holds to head out to turtle bay.
Thanks
Ol Tom

Up at denham at the moment.
Up at denham at the moment. The weather hasn't been too bad but the fish not so friendly. We have got a few size snapper and Mack's. They seem to be getting pinks on monkey Mia side mostly but we have got them both sides just no big numbers
good luck

I had three days fishing in
I had three days fishing in Shark Bay in mid August on my 5.5 m boat with some mates. We struggled to get anything worth wile in the bays and ended up heading to steep point on two of the days which was excellent fishing. We got a lot of good size bald chin, medium snapper and plague proportions of shark mackerel on the troll. Its a fairly long cruse out there from denham but well worth if conditions are suitable.
We went out of monkey mia on one of the days and found it very quiet - not being particularly skilled estuary fishermen we struggled. We did find a lot more life around close to dusk though with plenty of small sharks cruising the shallow weed banks.
Cheers
Dave
