Hi everyone, I just have a few questions about Denham / monkey Mia as I heading there this weekend for a week. I have a 4.75m boat and been told I wasting my time going up this time of the year as the winds are apparently real bad. As we are staying in Denham if it blows up/when it blows up can u go to the monkey Mia side and still fish from a boat or is the chop still unbearable. Any help will be much appreciated its just me and my gf heading up and she loves fishing too so would love to now more about the place. Thanks

I would tow the boat up.
I would tow the boat up. Looks like 10-15kn southerlies for the rest of this week. If that continues the following week Denham will be too windy, but you should be able to find some sheltered water on the Monkey Mia side.

yeah mate take it up, either side will have some shelter even if its only close to the beach its better to be on the water than looking out from the beach scratchin ya nuts wishing you were out there.
