Does any one use depth line on their Lowrance sounder? Is it similar to the white line function described in John Adams book?

Depending on the colour pallette used it is shown as either black or white on the HDS touch. Use it all the time.

I'll give it a try & see if it helps. Might fiddle with the pallettes as well. I think I have pallette 1 at present.
