Hit the water yesterday for a dive ,we headed out to the place we seen the dhuies last time ,but we went 100m south from the last dive ,viz was 8m not great but still a good dive .We seen five dhuies got one 6kg and seen one around ten but he found a hole and was gone,I forgot the camera so pics still to come ,a few crays showing up inside but not many size.We seen a dhuie 100mm long smallest weve ever seen ,some good size skippy and a wobby, around four foot.Looking forward to the next visit to the edge.

good work paul! I've taken my new gun down on the last 4 trips... haven't seen one dhu yet - though before I had my gun we saw them every dive! I reckon it would be bit of a buzz getting a dhu on spear!:)

Got an 8kg dhuie on a gidgie once with a gut shot on a dive at Leeman a few years back, took the gidgie for a small ride before dying pretty quick.

Excellent How is he with a speargun?
Do you have an underwater camera that can handle the depths you are diving to now? You would get some awesome pics at some the places you guys dive.

diving with dhu's
well paul sound like you might be moving to the dark side and becoming a dive boy instead of a fisho , its worth all of the non divers out there to take a trip down just to see how the other side live , i always got a buzz checking out the fish and crays.
well done Jess, what no pogo stick ?
