Dive Tank Holders - Boat

What have people fitted to their boats to hold two or more tanks? I have a Fibreglass boat and Looking for a rail/rack system which allows you to remove/fold down brackets when not in use - keeping a slimline profile etc. you can push esky/engel up against. Roll Control (USA) looks good, along with Wilsecure/Hampdon style(Wangara WA). Also came accross Railblaza (NZ) at Whitworths - but looks bulky. Any info on different brands / places to look much appreciated.

Pool noodles

Thu, 2015-09-10 12:29

I've made some up with pool noodles and nylon rope.  Bottles lie flat on the floor and pool noodles stop them rolling around.  Easy to store, no sharp points to catch and cheap as chips to make and replace if one breaks.  Let me know if you want a pic.

Ive got two of the twin Hampdon ones in my tinny. They are pretty good, can remove the straps & plastic bits from the track when not in use.

hampdon

Another vote for the hampdon rails.

I have a couple on my boat as well (would put a photo into this post if I knew how to!) and the beauty is as  MM said - that if you don't want to use for tanks, just slide the straps off-

cheers

Tallon System

Mon, 2015-09-14 15:47

I have these by Tallon in my Barcrusher and they are awesome. Can take them out really easy and have a nice flush plate once off so dont get anything caught on them. Highly recommend them

The hampdon works a treat. Slide off when not in use and pack into the smallest of places
