Diving the Huts

Hit the huts on Sunday. HEAPS of boats everywhere after crays.

Was hard work, managed these for 4.5 hours. The D3 logged 183 dives from 6-8.5m, spending all of my time on the second reef.

Definitely not as many as i've seen over the past few weeks but still a few to be had and they were all well oversize. Spent alot of time just checking out the scenery as the vis was perfect. Saw some of the biggest squid i've ever seen down there too. But had no gun. Also saw a big jellyfish with an entire mini-ecosystem onit, wish i had my camera it was beautiful to watch.

Will try and get back soon before they all disappear!

Get to go hunting dhuies this weekend, wooohoo!

There are 2 shacks on a small bay at Minninup about 8 miles south of Bunbury along the beach. They were there when I first went diving off the beach there when I first got a drivers licence in 57,you had to drive across a farmers paddock to get to them.

Canarvonite is spot on with regards to location. Yeah, unusual to see. Looked around but he was the only one there.
