6 crays sounds promising, think they should be in close again pretty soon, haven't been for a local dive for a few weeks but vis in jurien was awesome hopefully the swell stays down long enough to get a few good dives in.

sounds like a good day Paul,

we went out and struggled against the Norwester all morning.  It was lousy out there, couldn't quite get a consistant speed.  I'll be reluctant in that wind direction from now on

Paul, look forward to the vids.

Saw Georgey B at the ramp today, but didn't really get a chance to talk.

Only 5 weeks to go

Nice work Paul. I was wondering if anyone was still chasing crays with all the pelagics being chased.

Five weeks mmmmmmmmm should come around nice and quick. Crays haven't been hitting the water much of late but we are about to get back to a couple of dives a week.

yeah i managed a dive

Mon, 2012-02-13 08:38

yeah i managed a dive yesterday off the north rock on canac island. the viz was surprisingly good considering the rubbish wind that was stiring up but still got about 5m viz. if anyone wants a photo dive that is it i reckon for shallow water stuff, i think we maxed at 7.2m but tons to see...leapord shark, blue devils, little blue neons, amberjacks but only one cray. tons of caves and swimthroughs to look at but unfortunately no luck with the crays.
