Dodgy eBay sellers

In light of my recent debarcles,

I was keen at getting a lowrance radar dome and found one that appeared reasonable priced on ebay

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122234134715?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

a new 4 g was 2200 so not too badly priced, I sent the seller a few messages and the replys were a little off, ie no boxes, instructions or the r10 interface box etc,

just the dome and 1 incomplete cable that was allegedly unmounted.

I finally got a pic of the bar code and low and behold this lovly human is trying to flog off an older BR24 unitas a 4g. The seller did reply it has a 4g sticker but he has decided to keep it after all.... and removed the listing.

It has me thinking all the bits and pieces that get stolen around the country - where and how they get onsold to make money back. ie pushbikes, fishing rods etc.

there has to be a market as otherwise people wouldnt knock it off..
