Dry Run
Submitted by Swompa on Fri, 2014-07-04 13:24
Hi,
My name is Swompa, and it is 5 weeks since my fishing gear last touched water.
I am starting to develop a twitch.
Had dreams of a snapper session in Challenger Passage tomorrow morning but 15-20 knots early morning has changed that.
As a Yachtie you would think I would be happy with plenty of wind, but no.
Early morning North Westerly - you suck!

feel for you
Feel for you mate,
Ended up in hospital, no finishing for 4 weeks, came out and had to go to HK for a week, came back to packing up a house and moving.
Should have it all finished by next week end, then I'm hitting the water HARD. Now I just hope my rods still reconise me.

I haven't been since April
I haven't been since April and the wife doesn't like me tying my fishing line to the cat or dogs.

Today
Took a couple of old blokes who are in the park near my place out to the Lady Joyce wreck today, had to shift spots 4-5 times but finally ended up with a reasonable catch,, 7 pinkies, 3 mulloway, a painted sweetlips, and a few skippy chucked in for good measure. Been that long since I'd been out nearly forgot how to anchor over small lumps in one go.
