duo squid jigs
Submitted by little johnny on Sat, 2014-06-07 14:40
2 cali classics still going strong ,I haven't lost this one yet,my boys lost a few ,not many jigs can compete in my books, very strong winds today (clear water) , just got to use them properly,12 to 30 feet top of the wazza.I do a fair bit of squiding normal jigs (cloth coated) last 3 to 5 trips.2 years on just starting to wear in a few spots,

I hear they have got cloth ones out ,bad move ,this jig in pic has caught hundreds,no jig comes to mind could last that long.the only other jig I use is pure white, from new I cover them in clear nail varnish to try make them last longer,i hope duo keep original still going

Nice! Might have to try those jigs.We been getting our limit in the sound pretty easy and after one session new cloth jigs look pretty beat up.Do you work them like a standard jig?

yes they do sink quick
in strong winds very good.work like normal jig, light winds have to work them ,I find no problem 12 feet plus ,in 12 feet and light winds I cast and count to 10 then just work jig back to boat 2 turns of reel 1 jig all the way back. bigger squid belt them .also have caught many types of fish on them.big seapike, tailor even a pink and lots of other shit fish .worth a try ,if you like plastics and casting lures you will do well, if you like a beer cast and wait type squiding no good,

Best jig on the
Best jig on the market
little Johnny they have not come out with a cloth one at all staying hard body they have only discarded the 105 range
as a sponsored angler of duo lures I can't go past them have fished these up to 40 meters and yes they last a long time unlike others but when you loose them your bottom lip drops lol they do sink very quick so when in shallow wate you have to work them faster but I have found 4 meters to 15 they are perfect
there are only a few stores stock them and they are around 25 bucks to find these they are at compleat angler nedlands and rockingham blue water Melville west coat tackle woodvale

Well done LJ, cracker squid indeed and consistant results from that jig.
