Easter Weekend Bash

I know a lot of guys are shooting of North and South. For the pleps that stay - wondering if we should not put a evening bash together??
Was thinking one of the Northern beaches??
Let me know your thoughts - would really just be fun to get out and get the lines wet / maybe a bbq as well on a beach?? - I wanna slide a tuna head anyway and leave it in for 3 -4 hours and see if we cant stir up the waters.

Sounds like a great idea mate, myself and Brenz are keen (possibly my uncle visiting from the eastern states, can show him how we fish over this side). Friday or sunday night would be ideal but ill make time whenever...
Maybe between a few of us we could get a decent burley trail goin, my freezer needs a clean out anyway.

OK guys - all sounds good - I have been invited by other fellow fisherman for a night out. Will confirm later which day. Lets hope I can attend both bashes as I am really keen to put some time in.
Brenz / Cuth - you guys know most of the spots around - I 'll leave it up to you guys to make a decision.
Friday / Saturday and Sunday morning looks good.
Mitch - If you really want to join mate - I can lend you a rod for the bash - let me know if you prefer OH or spinning type rod.

well if the numbers are
well if the numbers are starting to get up a bit we might need some space. What about club cap. Weed was pretty bad up there a few days ago but only south of the rock wall. Looked ok to the north... Another easy option would be floreat near the drain or something. Havent fished there for ages so dont know what its like atm.
Any other ideas?

He he. Very tempted but can't commit just yet. The beach won't be safe for swimming after you lot have finished burleying up.
Getting sick of pouring $'s of tuna oil out to sea for nothing and the local butchers has pigs heads for 6bucks. How do you reckon 3 or 4 of them would go? Been wondering how the missus cat will go on a hook too. kn thing made such a racket last night.
Lol at the rod bells Cutbad, I have a friend that doesn't think that pulling line off of your reel just as you're comfortable in the swag ever gets old. Having bells on is just asking for it.

whateva night is fine for me (might bo working tuesday though which would count monday night out). Hell ill fish 2 nights if different people are keen different days. Though I am more a fan of evening/night time fishing than mornings.
Will check out the beach condition tomorrow and report back.

sorry guys, moved house the
sorry guys, moved house the other day and it has been constant dramas since. Bloody telstra hasnt sorted the phone line so no internet.
I had a look at floreat. Looked ok with no weed at all. Couple of gutters not too far out. Dont think im gonna be able to fish this weekend any more though.... Pretty dissapointing but ill just have to make up for it over the next couple of weeks.
