Engine maintainence

Hoping to get some info on outboard maintenance.

I have a 70HP Yammie 2 stroke and besides the flush out via the engine muffs and wash down with loads of fresh water after every use is there anything else I could be doing?

Any info would be great........

Pull the cowling off spray

Pull the cowling off spray the inside pan with a fine mist of fresh water wipe out with a clean rag and the power head while you are at it spray the power head with Lanox or inox with alight film don,t use wd 40 or any sprays that are petroleum based this attacks the wiring .

Dont forget to check the prop

Dont forget to check the prop for any debris that may have caught up as well
