EvaKool Fridges

Hey Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has or have had an EvaKool fridge. Do they work well, good gear or stay clear and spend the extra $$ on Engel

Thanks
Dan

I have a few mates with them and they love them!! But they don't put them through there paces like my engel!!

Have heard a lot of good about them! They seem bulkier?

they are bulkier mainly

they are bulkier mainly because some models are built to be easily serviceable, comp/condenser on the side etc
They use the same Danfoss compressor system as Waeco (BD35/50) but the compnoents are a little simpler and "off the shelf" rather than proprietry. This probably also gives them a little less bling.

Ive always liked the yellow poly ones for toughness and no corrosion/fiberglass crunching, but I don't have one.

Fridge Mate

I got the 70l Fridge Mate from there factory seconds website,  worked out under $850 delivered with full warranty and I couldn't find a mark on it so not sure why it was a second. Its a bit louder then An Engle but side by side I think it would freeze more food quicker than the Engle.
