Hi lads,
After recent fishing trip, when I wash down the boat, I found some crack kind of like a knock from inside ( as the photo ). I got no idea what had happen there. Can anyone let me know what causes that? Would that affect the function of the outboard?
Thanks in advance. Cheers
Ken

hole is in the lower cover
hole is in the lower cover mount bracket - that's about where my knowledge stops.
You'd want to replace the cover but would need to know what caused it prior to doing that

Why your at it I'd be replacing the anodes as well - they look like their pretty low/eaten, could prevent future corrosion issues
