Exmouth Accommodation
G'day all,
Heading down to Exmouth in July(from Karratha) and looking for house style accommodation, as we will be bringing my parents with us on this trip. Will look at bringing the boat down so will require a house with adequate parking space also.
If any members have any good recommendations of places they've stayed in, all feedback would be appreciated. Price won't be an issue, just looking at something that would be cosy for four adults.
Cheers,
Brynner.

get onto
cape real estate or ray white in exmouth and see what houses they have, if any available.
There are some very 'cosy' houses on the canals !
it may be a bit late to find something for July, but you never know.

No chance mate. Was listening to ABC radio yesterday and Exmouth had to turn people away over Easter due to no accommodation left. They said it will be busy all season and they will need to open up the oval as a campers overflow. Take ya camper and a couple swags

This is a top notch joint, let Steve and Amy know that you found it through fishwrecked. Its relatively well priced compared to other joints around the place, next door to us is $1900 pw.

All booked
Managed to snare a 4/2 from Ningaloo Reef Holidays. the woman that runs the accommodation bookings was really helpful and easy to deal with.
Adam, ourexmouthhouse was all booked out around that time(school holidays) so was very fortunate to get anything at all.
Cheers.

This problem of
This problem of accomodation in our great vastly unexplored state promped me to get a boat that also is a floating caravan.
This gives you a much greater opportunity to go, irrespectively of availability of Accomodation.
With the $$ saved on expensive lodgings one has $$ for the extra fuel bill towing it.
And a big boat is what you want in places like Exmouth/Olslow to explore the outer laying sites.
The added benefit is being able to go safely far out in the metro area as well.
With the proposed closures of fishing grounds this could be an advantage being still able to fish.

Lol @ lighthouse bay caravan
Lol @ lighthouse bay caravan park, those guys are really up themselves these days.
My mate tried to book a chalet up the top there, but they were booked out. Instead he took a powered tent site. They rang him a month or so back and offered him the chalet and he said sure, as long as you don't mind transferring the cash on the fully paid up tent site to the chalet. They said no, they were going to charge him for both, and presumably rerent the ground a second time.
