There have been chats amongst some PGFC members to keep them out all year. Obviously not happening this season and I don't know how viable it would be, but who knows what the future holds? Food for thought and discussion. Probably involve different ground tackle and more losses but perhaps it would work.
Dave I think while desirable for anglers, this is unlikely to occur. I doubt that the club or RecFishWest would be able to sustain the program if the losses due to winter storms occurred from having the FAD's deployed all year.
