Well done , been a while since I’ve come across them we used to get them come in while fishing for herring . what bait did the trick ?

how do you cook/prepare them?

Fresh prawn was our bait (caught last week so fresh ish) as for prep just butterfly them, remove rib bones and you end up with a decent fillet. Then egg flour "fresh breadcrumbs" place bread in blender... Shallow fry & serve with home made wedges

Boat... But doable from land.
Do u know any landbased spots? Want to give em a try.
Try the Mandurah cut at night maybe? I see them every now & then at night.
