Tagging program reveals there are sharks in the waters around perth.

Sometimes they hang around, sometimes they travel great distances.

OMG they actualy linger of our coast. ( it is the ocean,it is wear they live)

Good way to spend our RFBL money...

very interestin. maybe these great whites are just too lazy to go any further when there is so much food in the water for them here. $400k to tell us all something we all suspected anyway. money could be better spent elsewhere, like another 6 fisheries officers to help bust the  fisho's knowingly doing the wrong thing

See the fisheries boys up here have just taken delivery of an 8.5 metre Naiad with all the fruit and twin 250 Yammie 4 strokes and also saw a Patrol all fitted out for what looked like long distance/ extended trips, so some of it is being spent onshore

Lets hope that they can nab a few people that are doing the wrong thing. Great to see the money being used as we would expect.
