Hi everyone, fishing at castledare miniature railway and hit a school of these caught about 7 in a row trying something different, using a float. I thought they might be a relation to trumpeter because of the stripes.
the eyes of the fish pop out like deep water ones.

sorry to hijack this thread, but after the carp ponds incident I am to scared to ask for help on this site because I don't want the shit to hit the fan just because I could be seen as similar to either of these two whose reputations have gone south
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

I didn't think it was a trumpeter because it was a lot lot darker then what it looked like in the pic, and the lines didn't continue straight they had breaks. Is that what happens to them in the murky water anyone?

Don't stress Lachie. You
Don't stress Lachie. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone.
I've been following the antics on here for a while now and you have held yourself well.. KF1 well..he is just at the other end of the scale. He just needs to be careful as its very easy to find someone these days based on Internet activity.. They do teach that at school but he must of been soaking a corn kernel in Sanctury waters that day.....
Yes it's a Trumpeter. End of thread...
