Fish ID near hillarys

I saw this near one of the reefs at hillarys through the sea scope, so i got out my gopro.
There isnt much to go on so its going to be a guessing game.. Much clearer through sea scope, wide lense is misleading was approx 55 - 60cm.
Kinda looked like a large skippy but also like a YTK, what do you think?

Didnt have the heart to tell the blokes that were bragging to me about their mulloway in their bucket that it was actually a dusky lol poor blokes wouldve had a nasty surprise at the dinner table.
