Yellow eyed mullet is another name for pilch, top right hand corner of the picture.
IMO they are not even good for bait

Yeah

Yeah i wasn't sure if there were any Pilch there, or if the Salmon went all the way to the back. Looking again must be some Pilch at the back . Still some confussing fish names, as Beau said , looks like a mix of yellow tail and scailies marked as yellow tail sardin .wtf .

I used to eat them but prefer Herring to Pilch .

Looks like a mix of yellowtail scad and mulies, all right if you like eating bait but I'm afraid its not something I'm too keen on.

Legal?

Fri, 2014-05-09 09:37

Yeah, it is almost comical, but is this crap even legal? Surely fisheries should be involved?

Name & shame time I reckon.
