My youngest 8 has finally been bitten by the bug after years of coming out and sleeping in the cuddy cab. Pupil free day today so all 3 kids came out and she emerged from her usual slumber and says "Dad can I use your rod". Once she hooked one there was no stopping her pulling in double headers and easily outfished her older brothers. I'm not even upset she managed to snap the tip off my $240 Drunknmonkey.

Pity about your rod tho. Put a new tip on it and give it the her . Another excuse to upgrade your gear .

Nah, that spot was dead
Nah, that spot was dead beside those tiny flatties one of which spiked me good which is bizarre but found another much closer in in half the depth. Smaller models than usual but millions of them so double hookups were on. Perfect spot and depth for my youngest two who are still getting the hang of holding bottom so even Marineboy might be able to hit a feed there.
