caught 2 harlaquine fish and the dhuies started to bite on the late breeze.

SW Bank
Think we are going to try troll out there today. Not too sure if the pinkies move out onto the SW bank, sure they would have to at some stage. Maybe around the same time as they move out on the containers, that was about 3-4 months ago now.
Also heard that someone was inclose behind garden island and were berleying up big time and had yellowfin tuna swimming up the trail on Saturday.

Think were about to head out to the 5 in the next hour, just waiting for the wind to drop a bit. Still trying to make the decision weather it will or not.

Bugger all
We went out and got sweet fa yesterday, except for a few scorpion cod and a baby leatherjacket on a baitcaster. Trolled from the five fathom to the back of west end with outriggers and teasers for no luck. Very quiet on the pelagic front. But from reading other websites and reports, it sounds like the tuna were out wide near the fads. Theres some pretty good photos of 10kg yellowfin tuna floating around after the weekend...... mmmmmm.
