Fishing dirk hartog urchin point
Hey guys b gals
Me and few mates heading to dirk hartog in June .we usually go in the warmer months of march
Im just wondering if any one has any info of the weather conditions that time of year how cold does it get at night, does it get really windy or does it drop off does the island see much rain ? Has any one been stuck from rain? We are staying at urchin this year we have stayed at whitnell one year with a boat and the homestead the previouse year really looking forward to being closer to the west side as its not 1 and half hour trip to get to spots .hoping the wind and swell is down too so we can try some of the platforms this year also if any one has any gps spots for lbf on the island will be much appreciated .
Thanks in advaced

Try the BOM site
The BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) site has a climate section, where you search by location for average monthly temps, wind speed and direction etc. www.bom.gov.au

I'm heading there too early
I'm heading there too early June, we normally do late may and the winds are generally easterlies sometimes quite strong, but perfect for the west side fishing wise. As for spots generally the harder the spot is to get to the better it will fish. Take your car on the tracks as far as they'll get u and then walk to find new spots is your best bet.
