Fishing in Shark Bay

Hi guys, I have a few questions about Shark Bay Denham hopefully someone out there can help. I have a small aluminium runabout 4.75m quintrex coast runner with a 50hp honda on the back. Im looking at holidaying in Shark Bay around late July. Is this a good time of year to go for fishing weather conditions? Will my boat be big enough to get around to steep point, what sort of fishing is on offer within the relatively calm waters of the bay and my final question is there a possibility of catching palagics within a few nautical miles of Denham without having to go all the way out to the west side of dirk hartog island. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers.

There will be a lot of swell
There will be a lot of swell in the winter months but the fishing can be great. I'd just spend most of my time trolling for tuna/macks.

Hey mate im booked in at shark bay from 10th to the end of the month so shouldnt be to bad goin off of last year when i was there at this time, we went out in an 18fter and handled it mint but this year im taking my 23fter up haha, a ruff day in shark bay is like a good day in perth if you know what i mean, if you still goin up give us a imbox and could probably suss somthing out i rekon.

Sharkbay fishing
July is great in Denham, on a good day you would be fine taking a 4.75m around to steep but there are plenty of spots in the bay try bar flats for snapper, both black and pink. troll up the shipping channel for the pelagics, hope you do alright, out from monkey near faure island in the channels is good also plenty of crabs near the pearl farm. happy fishing.
