Missed todays episode, but yesterday he was like a chook with its head cut off. How was he with the crays? My girlfriend, who knows bugger all about fishing just sat there and asked, who is this clown? lol!
i watched it last week and didnt think too much of him....he does go a little overboard with his reactions.......just my thoughts!
he who dies with the most toys wins
Found it slightly ironic that Jacko was joking about being taken by a shark at the same time that news was breaking about the poor bloke down south losing his lower leg.
Yes...hate to say it but jacko is a bigger tool than expected. The guy has got no idea...he has poor knowlege amd no connection with the viewers....Nick H is keeping this boat afloat....
I wish these TV dudes would just chill a little....not be acting like kids who only go fishing once a year for school holidays....please.
Yeah I remember that show, I used to tape it and watch it when I had time. Was very basic but no aires and graces either. A pretty informative show but lacking in the action department sadly.
How many of you guys watched it, or would watch something similar (low production values) if it was on air as an alternative to the Nick and Wacko show?
New one on Acess 31 is River to Sea , 8.30 Satdy night . good honest show and the presenters aren't dick whackers.
Been waiting for a couple of months to see if anyone else watches it but no body is saying anything ????

I did the righty here I have now suffered through 3 shows and you are all so right in the comments Nick and Jacko dont bounce of each other at all. Jacko is a actor not a presenter (he needs his lines spoon feed and not to long ether)and generaly the show is piss poor over all ,the highlight of this show is the cameraman is now the stand out of the crew and for me to say that does urke me. Jacko what a nob. Nick well its hard to shine when surrounded by nobs for Nick is a clued up chap. He should be himself and not try to be a Jacko its not working .
Yep i'd watch a good local show if the emphasis was on informing viewers of rigs, fish, spots, good products etc and not about making people laugh or acting up. Don't get FWA here. At least i haven't seen it. Would be good if on a week night or sunday night so won't miss it cos of fishing.
From what i've seen on the fwa site it isn't in a good way.
I like watching any fishing show. Sure some are a lot worse than others but the alternative is not see any fishing atall. I would watch a local show and agree that it should not be a sudo add for Kmart or whatever. I understand that big dollars are involved with producing a TV show but does it need to become an advert in itself. Local content with local anglers seems to be what we want without the bells and whistles. Where to go , how to rig , how to use electronics , how to fish safe , fishing holidays , charter boats etc . there are so many aspects to fishing and most of it can be covered in our local waters.
Any day fishing is a great day !!
After meeting the lads for a few drinks with a couple of other forum hacks would have to say that both presenters on FWA are doing what they know best - Fishing and having a good time while doing it.Unfortunately we get used to one particular set of presenters which then puts us in a comfort zone, then when something changes to take us out of it we immediately say that we don't like it.Nick and Jacko are just blokes who like fishing and are passionate about what they do.No false fronts are put on the show as they are pretty much what you see is what you get type of blokes. They are never going to be a Steve or Ryan, they are just going to be them.
I reckon that having a WA based fishing show is brilliant, because if we remember not too far back we only got eastern states based fishing shows which just paid lip service to WA if at all.Give the boys a go as they are defiantly trying their best to do a show which appeals to a wide audience (can't be easy). If you do have a gripe with the show make it constructive as opposed to abusive as that will not help anyone in the end.As for me I will still tune in to watch the show, if I can't fish I bloody well need to watch it.
