nothing suss here
Just good timing, if I had a boat big enough to warrant it I would consider it. I'm pretty sure Ozzy has one and loves it, mind you, he is a man of leisure, or was that pleasure...

Information to Fishwrecked Members.
Hi Members. My name is Geoff Davis. We own and make the Release & Retrieve Boat Latch ( all out of 316 stainless steel ) We have them fitted to all types and sizes of boats to 8 + meters, pleasure and work boats, Police, Sea Rescue, Coast Guard, Charter etc. Some are fitted by boat dealers, some by boat builders, Some by handy men. There are two types, one to suit plate and pressed Aluminium and one to suit Fibre Glass,Polly,Wooden, and Steel, plus Mono,Tri,Cats,Punts and Party Boats. Some take a bit more to fit because of length, depth and angles. Have a look on our Web site at www.boatlatch.com There is a lot of information including how to fit and use. Thanks for your intrest. Good fishing. Geoff Davis.

Boatlatch not to be confused with Boatcatch
Hi,
I have had the "BoatLatch" on two boats, a Cruisecraft 595 Explorer and a 625 Outsider. Absolutely one of the best investments I ever made as a (mostly) solo fisherman.
Yes it certainly did feature on "The Inventors" program and it was Geoff a farmer from South Australia who as I found out after I purchased mine is one of the most helpful people around. He was never too busy to take my call to explain things about the setup and the correct way to use it. This made launching and retrieving so easy especially as I was often on my own. Will definitely buy another one next time I get a bigger boat.
Regards, Bill
