Good gear
i can personally recommend the Leemax Slim Max range of rods. From big Golden and Gold Spot to 20kg+ Mullaway at night, it took it all in its stride, fighting outside its weight division definaltey.
Also seen the Leemax Jig gear in action and it was sweet. Ill see if I can find some pics

Dale it's run by Barry
Dale I believe it's run by Barry Greaves now. Never met him but apparently he's a great bloke... he's an ex-cray fisho too so he'll be a good source of info on the local waters.

Don't mind talking up a FW
Don't mind talking up a FW site sponsor. I've tried a LOT of bream style rods over the last several years and one thing I've always wanted is a good, short, thin blanked rod for breamin. Mate of mine already had a few and I grabbed his Black Rose, which is a very short rod, ideal for close quarters hb fishing. Fell in love with it straight away and what really blew me away was the price, $140. Straight down the shop and grabbed one, loved the feel so much that I ended up trying a few others and also walked out with a Blue Mountain ($100, bargain). Itching to bend the buggers I headed away to the Blackwood for the weekend with a mate of mine to test the Lemax on some really angry fish.
Well, 2 days of nasty bream, high winds and nastier snags really tested these rods. Bang for buck, these are some of the best rods I've used for breamin. All I can say is don't hesitate to have at least one in the quiver, you won't regret it.

Red Sword
I picked up a Lemax Red Sword 6' from Anglers Spot. Can't wait for a couple of big angry bream to load it up. Although it's heavier than my other bream rods, the centre of balance is right at the reel seat so it feels very light. Lighter in my hand than my 6'6" Trion which is under 100g.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
