Flares - Old Stock

After going to the Mandurah Boat Show I replaced a number of Safety stickers on my boat and realised that my Flares were out of Date by 3 months, So went to a couple of Local Boating shops won't mention the names and found one shop had Flares that were Made in January and the other in July.
3 months old Stock is understandable but 9 months is pushing it as they only last 3 years.
Best to check the dates before buying :)

Yes, I always check dates when buying flares/epirbs......
Try somewhere they have a good turnover of stock.

Im sure the shop owner would discount appropriately if you ask.

Possibly, but I was put off by this sort of thing happening so went next door to the other shop.
