I'm strangely pleased with what I saw last night. Add JK and take away the cheating umpires and we may actually be competitive.

Farrrk somebody sees what I saw, some of those decisions in the last quarter were just woeful and obvious.

Some of the decisions at the Swans half of the game in the first quarter (and that end of the game throughout) were ridiculous.

Cheating umpires? Now that’s a cop out. There were several frees Sydney should have got and never did. That free for Nic Not when he goaled when he clearly was in the back of the swans player was very lucky.

cant say the umps where that
cant say the umps where that great , but there where misses for both teams
eagles where highly competitive , add in kennedy and few more games for some of the new blokes , good signs I think , jetta played better m like how he looked ,
hard to win when buddy is on fire like that without your main goal scorer
biggest difference imo was buddy and eagles looked to be less skilled and more panicked at times under pressure , those disposals that did not hit their man or went to a bloke under more pressure cost us
they needed to be cooler and weigh up options down the line of play more than just get a disposal away quickly imo

I was getting sick of seeing them get run down. Memories of last season with dear in headlight stuff.
Kinda wanted to belt Buddy the way he demolishes the defenders but if he was in my team I would love what he does.

Guys like Gaff would do well
Guys like Gaff would do well to see how Shuey goes about it when delivering the ball in that he lowers his eyes and maintains possession until he can kick it hard and flat into space for a leading player. Getting really sick of Gaff and Masten in particular just flourbagging it to no one and Masten even kicked it high to a two on one yesterday.
I reckon Venables looks the goods and I loved Liam Ryan's intent and ability to weigh up his options and Waterman looks to be a beautiful kick.

Just trying to work out the shittier team but then it dawned on me.... the dockers by a paddock. Eagles forward line definitely lacked a target, Jack Darling was about as average as last year. Don't think anyone would have stopped Buddy yesterday.

Without seeing the game Frost
Without seeing the game Frost I suggest perhaps the umps decided to not pay the half a dozen "its the eagles at subi" free kicks... Perhaps it was those that you are used to receiving that you didn't is why you feel cheated....
Bravo bravo umps, poor old Hawthorn get robbed every week...
Now where was I...
Freo, now where are they??
Dogs are gooooone.... Bottom 4 potentials as Brisvegas and Carlton look as though they'll be jumping out of bot 4 contention...
Andy.... Pies over GWS? I know you wanna?
Andy again.... Pies + Port over Sydney in a multi? Woweee
Andy, first coach to get sacked this footy season? D Lehman?
Pretty short odds on that I would suggest...

Don't think I will tip Collingwood in r2 Unc
Reckon they will cop a flogging
.
Hawks and Geelong will be interesting and the Frockers should be Owen 2 at the hands of the improving peptide boys.
The Eagles must be a chance against the scraggers too after the way GWS TOOK them apart.
