Forecast for this weekend
Submitted by Iceman on Wed, 2011-06-29 10:26
going by the forecast for this weekend hope no one is planning on going out in their boat. When out training on the rescue boats we do see people fishing in these type of conditions. Idiots need their head read.
Remember if you get in trouble someone has to come to your rescue.

A good idea
for this time of year is to make plans AFTER checking the weather/winds.
Good days can be few and far between during winter so your better off scanning long range forecasts and making the most of small windows of good weather/winds.

yeah but when you are starved
yeah but when you are starved of opportunities you will leap at anything, and all I saw was a few showers. 25 knot winds is another story. Mate is also a very inexperienced boatie so will definately have to sit it out.

Boatitis? Related to
Boatitis? Related to Surfitis, an illness very common in the south west among certain individuals :p. I hear some businesses just expect it sometimes.
