##%%&&**(( FUEL THIEVES
Had my boat temporarily stored at a mates rural property, hooked up tonight for a possible trip out tomorrow and did my usual pre-launch checks, what the hell the tank reads empty ! I always fill it at the end of a trip to ensure it is ready to go ...........200 litres gone to some thieving barstard ...........what he doesn't know is that whilst the motor is an oil injected two stroke we have disabled the injection system and premix our fuel
If you see a blue smoke belching vehicle in the Gosnells Armibloodydale area please note done the number and let me know
And can you buy lockable screw in style fuel caps ???
Filling it up will hurt with fuel at $1.55 even with a discount voucher - what is even worse is that this tank full was bought witha 30 cent discount voucher and it only cost less than $1.10 a little .....grrrrrrr

Theft or guage
Bastards if true but I assume you have checked the tank as it would not be the first time a guage has failed and does not read.
Hope if true the shits get what they deserve.

Sorry to hear that mate, good
Sorry to hear that mate, good thing you checked before venturing out! This happens so often. Usually with bigger machinery and diesel, bastards usually leave the syphin hose hanging out and a diesel soaked patch of dirt there just to rub it in your face! Low life scum bags!!!

Dirty Low Down Mongrel Dog Bastard
About 4 months ago I picked up my daughters first car just before she got her licence, she was so excited. Fuelled it up on the way home only to have some dirty low down mongrel dog bastard milk it that night. Took the shine off the big event.

Fuel cap left on boat unscrewed
So I know that it was drained using a syphon - love the idea of them being pulled over blowing too much smoke - bloody justice
My concern is that with the fuel cap off during all that rain over the last few days the liquid in the tank might well be predominantly water - any ideas (other than metho perhaps) to address this additional issue

Metho
Pour a bottle of metho in to the tank, it absorbs the water and doesn't affect the engine when mixed in with you fuel.

you do need to be careful
you do need to be careful doing that. its ok with old carby engines but with a modern efi type it can bring a result similar to the problems seen with ethanol over east.

Getting worse around Byford
Had 3 cars down over one night, took sons sub-woofers out of his boot, and general stuff from other cars, Bottle of bourbon and carton from me bar. The a--holes have return last week to take more grog out of the fridge. Time for shot gun security to be employed.

Fuel additive
F-10 fuel additive i have started using because of the shit fuel we get up north works wonders for moisture in tanks , a mates old man works at a servo in geraldton and they use it in there tanks .
We feel nothing but a certain difficulty in continuing to stand

600 hundred litres
A bloke filled his big boat up the night before last years Carnarfin fishing comp , instead of parking it out where he normally did near the plantations , it was outside a mates house in town.
They got about 5nm out and ran out of fuel, over night someone had sucked 600 litres and no one had heard a thing while sleeping not more than 40 feet from it.
One of the faults of fuel usage gauges, you reset them when you refuel but if someone milks the tank it still shows a full load of fuel available.

Bought some additive as suggested
Motor started first time and seems to be OK but I will be carefully checking water traps and fuel filters next trip out after the tank has been "slopped around" a little - the fuel bill hurt and the suggestion of an anti-siphon valve is a bloody good one so will look into that - thanks for the suggestion
