Furuno 587 shift adjustment
Submitted by Marineboy on Sun, 2016-02-07 11:08
i have a 587 with the func key set to shift, trying to work out if I can adjust the preset values (depths) from the factory settings.
Can anyone tell me if I can do this on a 587 and if so how, I seem to have memories of having done this my old 620 but I may be wrong.

It's in the menue settings
It's in the menue settings under range I think. Should be able to click on the setting and change it up or down
Any one free to help me pull my drum lines tomorrow?

preset
I understand what you mean marineboy, it always gives you preset values depending on what your shift depth is which could be better adjusted and this is in manual mode BTW.
I haven't found a way to get the exact depth I desire and it is a little bit annoying, I have played around with it but just learned to live with it
From what I can see it was adjustable on the 585 (I haven't owned a 585)

Thanks guys
found the range settings no worries reece and have that sorted but it's the shift that I wanted to change but I think as rig said you just have to live with the pre set values on these.
