FW Exmouth comp day 1
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Sat, 2011-04-09 22:15
Quick report on the FW comp day 1, great conditions early up which turned average late afternoon. Plenty of fish were caught from the few teams I've spoken to. Reds to 70cm, a 1.75m 35 odd kg spaniard, plenty of big rankins, several marlin (ours was 70kg), big jobfish, coronations, spangles and lots of tuna and I've only spoken to 4 of the 16 teams.
Big day tomorrow, great weather forecast. Stay tuned for more reports and some great pics to come.
Cheers,
Adam

Bad luck about the weather, some of Perths yakkers are holed up at the Novetel hotel waiting to get across to Wilderness island they tell me , but more likely there are holed up at the bar in the potshot pub,,which is not a bad place to be,,

hi guyswith the rain and wind
hi guys
with the rain and wind on sunday for the comp, team realtime went for a landbased fish, some nice bluebone's, gt's, cod's and a horse of a spangald by gary, had to leave them biting after we ran out of bait.
weather calmed down in the arvo and myself, gazza and pete d went for a quick fish at 4pm into the night in the gulf, not alot happening but did get plenty of small trev's and other assorted fish, couple of runs on the livey and a nice cod and cudda for myself, we left the other two girls sitting at home watching the telly(steve and andy mac) although andy needed his rest after the marlin.
on the plane monday morn, so no fish for me, but steve and gazza are still flying the flag for team realtime.
also agree on punching the weather guy in the nose
cheers ron
