FWA programing times

Am I the only one who gets peed off at the programing schedules regarding fwa? I have been waiting since before 4pm for it to start as the tennis is on hoping it would come on after but no what comes on? according to efing Jim...... it seems that the fishing shows are always the ones to get cancelled when there is some other sport on is this an agreement with the producers of the show I wonder. whatever it is it gives me the shits why cant they get a regular time slot so we dont miss it?(or was it on earlier?)
not that it's that good at the moment but it's all we have (apart from fishing australia) at least that one is all fishing and a bit of sponsor adds at the end.

No you are not!!!!!!
No FF - I'm about to send an email to the Australian Communications and Media Authority. OK; fair enough, that live sports will add seepage to the schedule. (HEY! the short skirts are very nice!) But what they played after (G**) wasnt even on the program.
It's not just fishing prrograms it's (historically) any content. And that is simply NOT acceptable.
I think it is VERY important to have a local fishing show. Not just for us, but for so many reasons. Like all the kids that should be out there FISHING.
S0 EVERYBODY LETS ARC UP AND CAUSE SOME SH*T!!!!
For complaints on broadcasting send to
Ring or email the station involved. Talk to your local MP. Send up a blimp balloon. Write it in LARGE letters on the side of the next space shuttle.
IT'S IMPORTANT!!!!

My email:
Dear Sir/Madam
As an avid fishing person I tuned into G(**), this afternoon, Sunday 20 January, 2008. The program guide advised that Fishing WA was scheduled at 1600 hours (4.00 PM) WST.
Notwithstanding the acceptance that the program was scheduled after the Australian Open tennis coverage, and, therefore, there would be some slippage in the scheduled broadcast times, the program that was eventually aired was not even on the advertised schedule. Nor was there any text overlay about adjustments to schedules.
In this day and age, when too many young people are pursuing socially dysfunctional activities, I believe that the importance of a healthy life sport like fishing can not be underestimated.
I believe that any broadcasting station has a community obligation and am very disappointed that there was no visibility of this.
I would be interested in your thoughts and contribution to my dissatisfaction.
Best Regards

Its typical Colin
Commercial TV programmers really don't give a toss about the viewers. That's why I took out Foxtel.

Same here Col
Pretty much did the same Col. Unfortunately, if people just accept that FTA channels can basically do as they please when it comes to sticking to programs (notwithstanding unforseen/able circumstances), then the practice will continue.
It smacks to be of a caviliar approach and contempt for audiences that they are so desperate for during rating periods.

Couldn't agree more Colin
They just take the audience for a ride. I couldn't take anymore. I could guarantee that whenever there was a show I wanted to watch it would come on up to half an hour late because some crappo reality show ran over schedule.
The only thing I watch on FTA anymore is the cricket and the fishing shows.
