Went to the nth bank of the swan underneath the west side of Garret rd bridge 5.30am.Using prawn for bait and a 6lb braid and 10lb leader with No 4 grinner, 1st cast landed a 200cm bream. 2nd cast(drag set at 2kg) line started peeling off then it spat it. 2 more 200cm bream later I hooked something a little more interesting, a 250cm specimen. I'm going to try tommorrow with lures.. Let you know how I go.

would be interesting to see
would be interesting to see a bream at 250cm, dont think you could land one that size on bream gear. ............ common mistake , good to know the bream are around that part of the river. that area used to swarm with big bream and went quiet, looks like it will come back well. well done on the bream session , pity you lost the big ones
