Good Ray at A Shed today

Was down at the A Shed today waiting for the Dyfken to come back to Freo and watched a young bloke hook up a good ray, didn't give him much of a chance but it took him a while and he got it it in - just as well he had a heavy set-up. Good to see he got the photo and let it swim.

I've only caught
one a bit small than in the photo and that was on the alvey winch, that was a job to get it up and old fart get the hook out to swim another day, ruddy pigs when on the line. I think the young chap would have had sore arms after that ray, not bad at all, good to see it swam away in good nick.
