good video editor???

can someone please help with a good video editor for windows 8 for go pro footage. It maybe be my computer but the gopro editor didn't seem to respond very quickly. got some cool footage of a life as a cray pot just need to edit it

I have got no idea at all
I have got no idea at all about this but some programs can be meant for Apple computers so they take forever on windows computers. But I am not saying this is the problem because seriously I've got no idea.

I downloaded windows movie
I downloaded windows movie maker and run that on windows 8....pretty easy to use aswell

I use windows live movie
I use windows live movie maker (on windows 7 but) and is very easy to use but is slow and takes ****** ages to process the movies if in any decent amount of detail

Just use your school computer and send it to ur home with email because it will probs be faster

cause VideoReDo TVSuite V4 is really good depending on format used it does not change compression or ratios and is the best

I use power director 12 as well - pretty good editor, can do plenty on it and not that hard to use either.

I use adobe premiere pro for editing videos but that's prob a bit advanced (and expensive) for what you're wanting. I'd say stick with windows movie maker..

You can set the playback resolutionset the preview resolution according to the speed of your computer.
There's a few templates you can use with the edits set to the music - you just insert your shots.
