Got a couple

Ended up with a few fishes yesterday out on the 5. Pulled the pink out of the school on the sounder shot on an 80g blade bouncing away in the rod holder, only a couple touches on the plastic from the rest of his mates, definitely not as agressive as im used to when finding a decent school. Water glassed off so went out chasing the birds along the bank landing 6 tuna casting Yakamito micro jigs, the first five were around the kilo mark and didnt take any drag on the 20lb outfit so swapped out with the bream gear running 6lb, first cast got a fish over twice the size as the others always the way! Was a good 10 minutes getting that one in

Sweet
Should've put one of those little ones back out under a balloon, something bigger might've been following them around

Were you drifting over that school of snapper and jigging, or anchored ahead of them? I have found the snapper can be a bit more difficult and timid when drifting throught them in shallower water, compared to when anchoring and fishing through a burley trail.
I've managed a few tuna recently too, get them by casting a soft plastic or twisties retreived fast through upper water column. Did you jig those tuna or we're you casting at them with the jig ?, I see your assists are on the rear attach point.
Cheers, Joycey

Casting mate. I always have
Casting mate. I always have them rigged on at least one of my rods, very versatile better than a twisty can cast but also jig, today we were catching tuna on them and then let them sink and were catching breaksea cod. Perfect bait profile for perth have caught just about everything on them

Cool, may have to add them to the collection
Did you jig the snapper drifting on five fathom?
I've only got snapper on five fathom at anchor with burley trail and soft plastics or driftbait out the back of the boat, no luck drifting that area with metal jigs yet despite trying!
