GPS points.... Merry Christmas

Hey all, I bought a boat recently from a fella up Perth way and it's got a couple of saved points on it I thought I'd share as i'll never get up that way as I live down in Bunno.
#1 - 30deg09.942'S
115deg36.371'E

#2 - 32deg01.022'S
115deg35.201'E

#3 - 32deg00.959'S
115deg35.209'E

#4 - 32deg04.149'S
115deg27.099'E

All were named "DHUFISH" on the gps. Could be a whole lot of nothing but who knows...

Knock ya selves out and if anyone gets any action send us a pic! Have a good Chrissy all

Just a heads up for all the punters:

The first is incorrect and somewhere near Green Head, adjusting to 32° gives a reasonable location

The second and third points are obviously very similar but may show the line he was drifting when he marked them

Settle Petal!
3 out of 4 of these are common spots and already marked within 100m for anyone who has a copy of the navtronics app installed anyway.

Tis the season to be jolly

Would do the same

Tue, 2016-12-20 14:07

I would do the same!   If I bought a boat down south or up north and found gps marks on the plotter, I too would post them up for members in those localities to try...

First post by teamjelly mentioned everything

Tue, 2016-12-20 18:29

He stated that he bought a boat in metro that came with some spots.  He lives down south so those spots would not benefit him. Hence why he posted up the co-ords for metro FW members to try. He did mention that the spots were marked "dhufish" and it could be productive or...not.

Metro fishos will probably know those spots aren't that productive but maybe when those spots were saved, the fish were biting...  I'm sure alot of members on here have spots saved that sometimes produce fish and other times, not even wrasse were biting!

Tue, 2016-12-20 14:52

Im in the process of selling my boat and i have left 100s of gps spots on it yeah they cost me lots of $$$$$$ to find them but whats wrong with giving someone else a leg up we all know how hard it is sometimes. Expecially when you first start out. And if the person buying my boat decided to share them with the rest of the world good luck to them.

Some people are constantly on the back foot hey, was hoping someone starting off in the fishing game could chuck a couple of "donated spots" and come in with a win.
Big hugs to ya MHWoody....I still love ya, hold my hand mate, i'll take ya fishing. ;o)

 MHWOODY my man!! Where have

Fri, 2016-12-30 12:40

 MHWOODY my man!!

Where have you been all of my life? I can see we are going to get along just fine on here...

Fishwrecked desperately needs someone level headed and full of great advice like you bring my man...

You are dead right i think, Teamjelly was being a generous wanker, A helpful thoughtful dick...

He has no right to think of others and try to be kind to the fellow man, who the F does he think he is!!

From what i've read above those metro spots were sacred, secret and untouched like a virgin mermaid...

I wouldnt be at all suprised now if recreational fishos now actually do start to catch more fish than pros like Barneyboy thought all along and its all because of you Jelly, Helpingfellow fisherman catch a fish!!

Sit yourself down Jelly and smack your own botty so MHWOODY doesnt have to drive all the way from Rockingham and risk a random roadside drug test to come and do it for you....

Boon

hmmmm, some would also think it was funny to label a few shallow rocks as "big dhues!" or "12kg red" and watch the gumbies pile into it...

One great thing with this thread is that it has managed to drag in some new trolls, was just thinking how FW is getting a bit mellow
