Just thought i would share all of my tailor catches of the year so far, had a blast catching them and caught big ones every month so far.

Dude if you keep eatin tailor, youl end up with a v tail and savage teeth. How big was the mulloway, or rather the tailor next to it. Some crackin metro fish there, all from a fav spot?

biggest tailor i have caught
biggest tailor i have caught this year was 85cm and 4 kg, the mulloway was only a soapy its was 6kg and a bloody suprise catch,
most of my tailor where taken on a mullie and quite a few on metals and stick baits, and all from my fav metro spot NOR.
i will post recipes soon as i am the one that dosnt cook them, i just eat it and tastes bloody good

Hooked a monster tailor saw
Hooked a monster tailor saw it jump and then spat the lure had my line tight and everything must have been bad trebles on the lure,
fisrt time this has ever happned, then after that i lost my blues code in the reef, spewing cause its not a cheap lure
the tailor would have easily been around the 70 to 80cm mark

bag limit of 2 tailor over 50cm in wa and legal size limit is 30cm, and bag limit of 8 tailor under 50cm

shimano stradic 8000 the old model, and a 10 foot ugly stick gold, my new beach combo is a daiwa sensor surf 13 foot with a shimano saragosa 10000, and my beach lure rod i use is a daiwa seajigger 10 foot with a daiwa seagate lite high speed reel

yer man still going good down there, just gotta put in the hrs and know what ur doin and how to fish the area and yer the salmon was from that spot and it was april when i caught
the salmon just after my crazy albany salmon trip and was my fist for metro and a good size one too.
what about u, still catching there??

Been pretty quite for us
Been pretty quite for us lately, though we have been landing some absolute monster mullet and massive tarwine just to change things up. Tell ya what those tarwine go pretty bloody hard when ya fishing on top of the reef with 4lb. Great fun!. Geting my new Revo prem 40 early next week so i'm thinking a change of outfit and a fresh start might bring me some luck. Watch out!

Some very solid fish there, and i can say i believe a couple of those photos come from my fav metro spot too ;) Must say that your tailor have trumped mine in size, but as you say its all about knowing how to fish the spots. Good job!
