Hamelin Bay KG's
Submitted by Paully on Wed, 2009-12-30 19:25
Can anyone offer any advice about the prospects of getting into some KG's at the bay from shore. I hear it can be and is done quite regularly. I have never been to Hamelin.
Cheers

i tried heading down the 4x4 track about 6km north or the town ... only got 1 sized one but a few sandies and lots of herring :)
if you have a yak i think youd have better luck

not going to give away any
not going to give away any exact spots from shore, but here is a hint
Dont be afraid to venture awya from the main beach, and down other beaches / bays.
Always try fish sand holes around reef, best locations. Burely does work for KG's too
