handy inventions
this may have been posted before and if it has let me know......i am sure there are many of you out there who have invented, adapted, fitted gadgets, accessories, items to your boats, tackle bags, chairs etc that are novel, made life easier etc....are you getting the picture?
Basically anything you would like to share with other FW members that may make their life easier. To start off with i have a simple boat rod holder extension consisting of 400mm x 40mm plastic tubing that fits neatly into the boat rod holders. My eggbeater reels now don't bang on the deck and chip the paint. If you are using overheads just simply pull the extension tubes out and stow away.

I just have one of those trolleys where u can put groceries inside a thick material bag... remove the bag and then u have a frame and wheels place the bait board at the bottom then tackle box, esky, burley, bucket and there u have it a portable fishing rig!

i watched the locals walking
i watched the locals walking down to the end of the jetty with all these rods reels and tackle only while i tryed my best to get out there with 2-3 rods , tackle box and bucket. not very fun.
so wen we got back to perth a quick look around in the paper and found an old pram. so i through awsome it's time to pimp my pram.
i added three rod holders onto the front bit of it and stuck a storage bucket in to the back bit where the baby sits and that would be for were my tackle bocs and knife and things would sit. then all i did was get a bait board that sits in the rod holds and bam there you got. it cost me bout 20bucks and thats only for the rod holders got the pram for free and the bucket we had laying around.
i was gonna use other types of wheels but i found that they soft pram types are the best becasue the roll over the cracks in the jetty and dont move the pram around much.
ill try and find some pic some where.

well
i built a boat trolley out of 4 pieces of steel and welded it all together and used old bike tyres to help me get across the sand to the launch spot, all up costed me $0 because all i had to do was hack at some old steel with an angle grinder but it was worth the time because it only takes one person to lauch my boat now

I made my own rod bag easily
I made my own rod bag easily holds 6 two piece rods ...good for rockhopping and since they closed ASI to cars...also tackle bag and small belted waist bag saves time and back when reburleying and baiting often...
