Just a heads up if you want to stock up on terminal tackle Hills Mako Tackle in Midland are having a closeing down sale went out there today and it was pretty busy bought a bit of gear they have some decent skirts and jigs going dirt cheap as well as sinkers,gaffs,hooks ect ect ect pity that they are closing down another WA business gone

Snapper in the CUT ?????
Hi all ----someone sent me a picture of a large pink snapper that was caught last week at the Cut ----- looks to be a good fish. Just wondering whether this was an unusual catch or what else big is in the Cut at various times. I went there 2 days ago and got my bag of herring in an hour so its firing well at the moment . While on the topic of jetties etc -----who else has used the small jetty at the mouth of the estuary ocean front ------ Its a well made structure but the bottom there is murder on bottom rigs ---- lose a few every time I go there. Could it possibly be cleaned up by a scuba club as a training exercise or something. Could be a great spoot if this was done.
