HEGARTY CREEK trout or marron

Hi
Just looking for bit of info on HEGARTY CREEK...
We went out all day yesterday trout & redfin fishing, we drove from balingup to nannup along the balingup-nannup road... Pulled in at Wrights Bridge, and a couple more spots.
Has anyone ever caught any redfin, trout or marron in this creek? ( I know it's not marron season just yet)
We flicked lures around all day with absolutely nothing!
We were about 10ks out of balingup along that road fishing
Any info would be great, just dont want to bothergoing back there if its not good for fishing
Thanks

.
From what i can see the hegarty creek indicated on google maps looks to be the blackwood river. Other websites show hegarty creek to be south west of jerramungup. Just how it looks to me.

Blackwood
Hegarty creek near ballingup is part of the Blackwood River. Should be loaded with redfin and marron but I've tried wright's Bridge myself twice for no result.

Caught huge marron and trout
Caught huge marron and trout over a kilo in there 15 years ago, difficult on lures but used to do well with earth worms.
