Help needed: kids & Rotto landbased

I am taking the kids to Rotto and have no idea where to take them fishing there that is safe? We like beach fishing What type of fish will we catch in what spot ?is there any no fish areas?

Fish around rotto love bread,lots of boats over the years have put them on a diet of bread , Take pollard ,or canned cat food to burly up and a bit of fish oil try fish hook bay (bread and butter fish,bus ride to west end, army jetty can also produce herring.
